Please do not use Microsoft Word to compose posts.
[See here for detailed explanation as to why not.]
Instead, do this:
- Copy and paste all text from Word to Notepad. This copies the text, and some line breaks, and strips out all other formatting, and all gratuitous meta formatting created by Word. Check, and recreate as necessary, all line and paragraph breaks, to make it easier to read the text.
- Open Blogger Post Editor, in Edit HTML.
- Copy and paste all text from Notepad to Post Editor
- Go into Post Editor Compose mode. Put in all the bold, italics, quotes, lists, and other content elements, by examining the original. Use Insert link to add your urls links.
- Publish. The blog administrator is happy.
- In the Blogger edit window (or in a text editor) you will need to reformat you posts and redo your bold text, headers, links and the like in Compose Mode after you have pasted the text into Edit HTML
- However, if it doesn't work for you our dedicated team of sub editors will quickly descend on your feral post and bring its layout up to scratch.
- On some posts we will be adding a Read more... attribute which will divide the post in two with a drop down option. We do that so that a greater variety and number of posts can be showcased for perusal by visitors on the top page of the blog.
