This interview with Hardy author of Cowboy in Caracas: A North American’s Memoir of Venezuela’s Democratic Revolution is worth the listen. Hardy is an ex Maryknoll priest who had spent a long time in Venezuelan barrios. Then later returned after the beginning of the Bolivarian project. Hardy talks about Venezuela before the Bolivarian revolutionary process and what it's like now. It is a good introduction to Venezuelan politics.
