Protest Howard’s attacks on Aborigines

Aboriginal leaders from across Australia have called the demonstration. They will be in Canberra this week to stop the Government's legislation that allows it to grab Aboriginal land, smash Aboriginal self-government and occupy Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory with police and soldiers.

The pretext of the Government's re-invasion of Aboriginal land in the NT was the Little children are sacred report on the sexual abuse of children. The report's authors have condemned the use of their work. Pat Anderson, one of the authors, recently said "There is not a single action that the Commonwealth has taken so far that has corresponded with a single recommendation. There is no relationship between all these emergency powers and what is in our report."
