From Reihana Mohideen
News of the Sydney student protests have been on the front page of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Reports from this e-list have been circulating in the anti-war and Laban ng Masa networks.
The following message has been circulating via SMS: Sydney anti-Bush APEC students locked up in schools with cops questioning anyone who looked like a student at railway stations. Still the students beat the system. Down with the Howard dictatorship! Congratulations Resistance.
SMS responses congratulating the students have come from Cora Fabros, founding member of Stop the War Coalition here and worker leader and BMP Chair Leody De Guzman.
Congratulations to the student protesters and Resistance for inspiring us.
All the best for the protests tomorrow.
