Geelong workers demonstrate against ABCC

150 workers turned up for the launch of the public campaign to get Rudd to dump the taskforce and the laws attacking building workers.

Speakers included the Ass Sec ACTU Geoff Fary, organisers from the AMWU, CFMEU, ETU and plumbers. Both local ALP Fd pollies sent their apologies, but Darren Cheesman said in a message passed on that he would support the VIC ALP motion to abolish the ABCC and repeal the laws (this is the first public break with the Rudd/Gillard line.
