Indonesia:Protest against raise fuel Fuel price in Jakarta
Protests against fuel price rise continue as 28% average increase has really made people's life more difficult. The government still has not shown any concern on the situation, while progressive activists keep on carrying out protest actions and more hunger strikers fell incapacitated.
(01/06) in Kudus, Central Java, an LMND activist, Afit, had to be taken to hospital. The same incident happened to Venus Jupiter, a LMND activist from Palembang, as well as two activists from Lampung, Amir (UKMBS UBL) and Dedy (FORDIMA).
In Semarang, a protest post that was left by its two incapacitated strikers on May 31st, received fresh reinforcements from 11 people from LMND and SRMI, although the protest was planned to stop on June 3rd. In Jakarta, a fuel price post was set up in Salemba Street for 3 days and was ended by speeches.
