Any Newman referenced this and has a some interesting comments in regard to the celebration drawn from an interview with Sue Webb by Richard Bagley in the Morning Star.

The US Communist Party has long held a supportive stance in regard to the Democrats but in the present enthusiasm what is forgotten are the Democrats who already have a majority in the US Congress.So the key aspect, I think, is why the US ruling class were willing to unleash this massive wave of expectancy in the person of Obama?
